Electrostatic
charges often form on machines and equipment used in production processes.
Each electrostatic charge seeks a potential equalizer, dependent on an
excess or even a deficiency of electrons. If the distance between the
potential carrier, for example a person or machine, permits, equalization
can be created in the form of sparks. Inevitably, so called vagabond electrical
current results.

Viscacid
CR is a solvent-free, two components, pre-filled, highly chemical resistant
flow coating with excellent physical properties and a pleasant attractive
finish. Viscacid CR has a wide range of uses but it is very good chemical
resistance qualities tend to point in the direction of environments where
aggressive chemicals are packaged, stored or even used. These excellent
chemical properties are enhanced by impressive physical adhesion and abrasion
qualities. Viscacid CR us applied at 1–2mm thick.

Viscacid
Epoxy Colour Building Resin (CBR) is a solvent-free, epoxy system which,
when in combination with Viscacid CBR Filler, produces a 1-3mm self smoothing
system for use on high tolerance floors where an attractive, strong and
durable floor finish is required. The finished surface is pleasant in
appearance yet has a high compressive strength, excellent flexural/tensile
strength as well as very good abrasion and adhesion qualities. The Viscacid
Primer coat is blinded with Viscacid Graded Quartz Aggregates which ensure
maximum adhesion qualities are obtained between the primer and main flow
coating. Because if it is inherent strength, in conjunction with its eye-catching
finish, this Viscacid system is used in many different industrial and
commercial environments where presentation is equally as important as
the physical properties. The completed floor can either be finished with
a smooth or a slip resistant surface and can be cleaned using the steam
cleaning process. Mix ratios of Viscacid CBR Resin to Viscacid CBR Filler
can vary depending upon the thickness required and site conditions.
